My name is Dany Riley, pronouns they/them
I want to thank you so much for visiting my blog. My hope in being here is to help others gain perspective, solidarity, and connection through the sharing of my experiences with MS.
My MS diagnosis arrived in 2023. I’ve been learning, struggling, and growing into this disability ever since. My story is similar to many others. Just like a lot of folks with MS, I’ve been re-learning how to live. I’m someone who loves to share stories in order to help others feel seen and understood. And to help others see and understand me! So grab your teddy bear, bottle of whiskey, your cat, a bit fat bowl of whatever you like. Anything that comforts you most. Let’s share this spasmy trip together.
The same as everyone, I am more than one defining feature. I’ve worked in the animal welfare field for many years, since 2012. I have many credentials relating to animal medical and behavioral care. Including: RVT, CSB-C, FFCP-veterinary, FF-shelter, A.S., A.A.S.-Veterinary Technology… all these letters are here for me to brag a little bit. You can look them up if you’d like.
I am also autistic and non-binary (woohoo pride!). I think this gives me a unique perspective and way of sharing my MS stories and experiencing disability and it’s relationship with the world around us.
Take a look to see what other things you can learn about me!
